Enzo Maresca has revealed his players understood the message he was sending after they were left frustrated by the standard of training last week, leading to the club cancelling their holiday. Chelsea

After seeing the performance, Maresca ordered the first-team to return to Cobham for training the following morning.
Jadon Sancho is one of the players not included in the England squad and has not scored for Chelsea since joining from Manchester United on loan on December 8, a 4-3 win over Spurs.

Sancho has had just four shots on target in 1,433 Premier League minutes this season, fewer than Joao Felix, who was with the team at the start of the season and had six shots on target in 363 minutes before moving to AC Milan.
On Sancho, Maresca said: “It is up to him whether he wants to cross, dribble past opponents or shoot himself. But I have told him many times that he should shoot more. Hopefully he can start doing that now. “
